Elevated Sourcing

Elevated Sourcing

Looking at the international agriculture industry as a whole, it’s easy to see that issues abound. When facing damaged ecosystems, worker welfare concerns ,and unsustainable sourcing practices, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. What can any one person do? But that’s just it; no one person can solve these problems. It’s going to take all of us, working together, to create change.

As retailers, we are working with like-minded suppliers to incentivize and encourage more responsible sourcing practices. As consumers, we can vote with our dollar, and choose products that align with our values . Perfection isn’t possible, but together we can work towards a better future, one bar of soap at a time!

“I think the biggest differentiator is intention, truly. It’s thoughtfulness and intention along every step of the way. We are unwilling to just accept anything. We need to try it. We need to know where it comes from. We need to make sure it meets our quality standards and sustainability requirements; that we are really pushing the industry forward.”
