The Future of Food

by Angus Cann on March 18, 2024

The Future of Food

Working closely with suppliers like Violife & their parent company Upfield helps us stay on top of trends and push the limits of what’s possible. Decarbonizing the global food system is going to require dynamic new ideas, and Violife is working everyday to put  plant-based alternatives to conventional products onto our shelves.

“Our purpose is to advance agricultural and animal welfare practices…yes, we love it if we can provide great things to those who shop in our stores. But we recognize our position in the market has a substantial impact on what the industry does. So a big part of what we need to do to kinda honor that position is to understand things like, what’s the future of food, right? How is that going to impact future generations?”
